Professional dancer and choreographer, Bely Gandhara began her dance life as a teenager through the art of flamenco and urban dance. Captivated by Oriental Dance and Bollywood, she decided to make art her profession.

 

Fascinated by the charm of Indian dances, she began in Bollywood with Sunny Singh, being part of her company, Bailamosbollywood, for a year. The need to further explore this culture led her to settle in India (Mumbai) for a year, where she worked in the film industry with renowned choreographers (Ganesh Hedge, Prabhu Deva, Bosco-Ceaser, Vikram borad, Mudassar Khan) . He has experience in movies, TV shows, live shows and numerous festivals in Spain, Morocco and India.

For four years, Bely lived and worked in Morocco, where she obtained the support and recognition of the Embassy of India in Rabat, spreading this ancient culture through classes, workshops and live shows. He created and directed the artistic group Tanjawood for a year, training young Moroccan dancers and amateur artists.

 

She is currently co-founder of the Musaafira cultural association together with Fátima Montero.

His latest project, the book "Bollywood and Indian Culture" aims to be a source of inspiration and knowledge for all those who love India, its culture and Bollywood dance.
